Hen's Tooth Inside in 1978

Shelves are stocked and ready for business at Grand Opening in in late 1970’s.

Debbie Westendorf had a vision for a business where families could enjoy shopping, and find unique, affordable gifts. With support of her husband Greg, family, and friends, The Hen’s Tooth has drawn visitors to Sisters, Oregon since the late 70’s. Keeping it in the family she included Grandpa’s Tweezers, designed by Grandpa Westendorf.

Original Mascot Scarlet

Scarlet O’Henna, our mascot, adorns our nest, feathering it with a quirky im-peck-ability that creates a unique shopping destination: The Hen’s Tooth. It’s important to to us always provide egg-ceptional customer service.

                                New Chick in the Roost

We are egg-cited about the future. Scarlet has turned the roost over to Heather Chick, who has a new  look and is busy scratching out The Hen’s Tooth tradition of egg-cellence. Look for us at 172 West Hood Street in scenic Sisters, Oregon and you can call us at 541-549-0111.
