around this ol' world for 34 years? That's right, 34 years!
I feel as young as a spring chick but definitely feel I have come of age. I want to give you a look into my past so you know where I came from and where I'm planning to go in the future. So . . . grab a cup of tea and allow me to share my vision (and what's been happenin' lately at my nests). |
That's me, Scarlet, mascot of The Hen's Tooth. Look how I've changed! My mom and pop owners, Debbie & Greg Westendorf, and I have had so much fun growing together over the years. Now I know you might think I’m a tough old bird at 34 but I guarantee I have only improved with age. I was a young, gangly-toothed chick when I first arrived on the scene, then I grew a bit county-like and have now progressed into a beautiful hen of a fresh, fashionable nature. Look at me growing through the years:
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I started out as a specialty coffee nest. As I began to fluff my feathers and require more space, I added eggciting gift merchandise. My delightful nests today boast this claim: “Eggceptional Gifts, Home Décor and Seasonal Surprises.” As my chicks (an affectionate term for employees) and I like to say, “The Hen’s Tooth…Gift Delicious!” We use that phrase often, as it seems best to describe our one-stop-shopping for beautiful merchandise, free gift-wrapping and eggcellent customer service.
